Re: Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago Elizabethan style!

It looks superb, the Frostgrave rules can stand a fair amount of tweaking so long as the players are fair minded people. I'm looking forward to seeing the upcoming Solo/Cooperative set, Rangers of Shadow Deep. It has a decidedly RPG feel to it. https://therenaissancetroll.blogspot.com/2018/09/creati...

Re: What's on your workbench?

I have just discovered something that I can detest as much as Purps hates multi part plastic figures, multi part metal ones. I've been putting together some Wyldfolk from the Godslayer game to use as generic fantasy savages. One figure was given a very dynamic pose, sprinting with one foot off the g...

Re: Framlingham and the Law 12th October 2018.

I'm not sure what has confused Peeler. Was it my brief response or the whole subject of Kumbayah?
For clarification, I shall bring my mercenary units and militia in case we have a game going.

Re: What are people buying?

I've finally managed to ID that mystery armoured car that I bought on Ebay before I went on holiday. It didn't look right for a Dingo but looked even less like any other British AC. The fact that it came with 2 Bren guns (1 on an AA pedestal) put me on the right track. It's an ACV India Pattern. htt...

Therein lies the only appeal of Biblicals. Find a flesh tone that you can live with, dark hair, loin cloth, pointy stick. Add a wash and the jobs done.

Re: Roads

100 mm sounds OK. Several rule sets have unit base widths of 60mm so they will fit. You'll be pushed to fit Warhammer units across a road but we never really pretend that they make sense.
