Great weekend guys. Thanks to Peeler for organising, to Simon, Norm, Iain, Tim and Paul for staging some great games and to everybody for making the weekend sociable and fun.

Re: Ayton 3rd-5th May, 2024
Well, Caroline's hospital visit has fortunately revealed nothing sinister so, as long as she's recovered from the sedation, I plan to leave early tomorrow morning and arrive in Ayton around 2pm. I hope those who are there already have a fantastic day's gaming tomorrow.

Re: Ayton 3rd-5th May, 2024
Unfortunately I now have to take Caroline for a hospital appointment on Thursday afternoon so I won't get to Ayton until Friday pm sometime. Tim, Iain, I'm afraid I'll have to duck out of you Shiny Napoleonics game although I will endeavour to get there in time to witness the denouement.

Re: Shield Bashing 2024
Definitely want to give that a go. I've got Early Saxons or Vikings I can bring along, depending on the size of force required. Mine are sort of Lion Rampant sized with one or two extra units

Re: Ayton 3rd-5th May, 2024
Now that I have actually read the various threads I'm a bit conflicted. Friday shinies is a shoe-in, as is Lace Hulk sometime on Saturday (GM, can you please let me know what figures I need to bring for this?). Dark Ages sounds great and I've got figures for this but I also really like the idea of D...
