The last 30 or so bases of 6mm H&R Early War French plus a lot of homemade buildings for same that need a lick of paint and a few HO/OO card pre-printed buildings for friends new railway layout.

Bit late to the party -story of my life- but I seem to have returned from a lengthy sabbatical in the forum wilderness and one of the first things I find is a request for Mongols. I went to the first one at Excel and was so severely underwhelmed that I have never been back. I used to like Olympia -despite the bl**dy Underground engineerings on the line- and thoroughly enjoyed Kensington Town Hall and also Derby at the Uni. Both Excel and Derby are now on my Don't Go To list. ...

Quick look over, remove any glaring mould lines, prime/undercoat with Poundland matt black paint or car spray -the latter for large amounts of vehicles chaps only- and then paint. That's it for me. 6mm, piece of pi**.

Hate to quibble, but surely the defining point of the French patterns is that they originated at the factory, and had nowt to do with the unit organisation - making it entirely normal to have different patterns within one unit. Very true. I am only doing each company of two models in the same camo ...
