I'm only about 30 figures and an elephant away from wanky and smug I think, which is a nice thought! Then comes the difficult bit... Remembering how to play WAB, since it's been about 12 years since the last game!

In the end, I've just gone with lashings of Humbrol enamel gloss varnish, brushed on lovingly. First time I've actually brushed on varnish in decades! Very shiny.

What? No Fram? Hmmm. I will have to visit Detectorists territory another time. Count me as a possible for Ayton 2, although it's only a week after The Other Partizan (which moves to Oct in in 2020).
