Saw this in Home Bargains and thought "New Presidential helicopter?" It's about 20 cm long.
Edit: just checked the data and it's about 1:50 scale so pretty perfect. Hope that they have some next time I'm in.

I'm not sure how I could work them into the armies of Toscana or La Cors. The only unit I want to buy before Ayton is a battalion of Chausseurs d' Alpin.

If I go for it I am spoilt for choice. 25mm GZG & Battletech, GW Valhallans, Grenadier/Copplestone and sundry heroic scale stuff. I might even do it in 15mm Traveller figures.

That's because buyers factor in the time they'll have to spend stripping and rebasing them. That and the fact that we are, as you mentioned, cheapskates.
