Re: Would Chosen Men work in 15mm?
I've been thinking about using it with a Norse Mythology background. Ever since Copplestone released their Dwarves I have been on the verge of 'pressing the button'.World2dave wrote: ↑Sun Oct 15, 2017 7:06 pmI'll be doing the DR 15mm Dark Ages/Barbarica thing at some point next year if things go to plan...

Re: Would Chosen Men work in 15mm?
I think I had a chat with EB about individually mounted 15/18mm for Pirate games and with W2D for Sci Fi. So I'd say go for it, save some money and space and be a winner all around! (I'd also looked at playing DR in 15mm as I have a soft spot for the Copplestone 15mm Barbarica range but haven't take...

Re: Ayton 2019 VBCW topic
Obviously each method of transport has it's own advantages and disadvantages but ultimately it is just transport. Perhaps a straightforward 1 person point provides transport for 4 people or up to 4 people?

Re: Ayton 2019 VBCW topic
The cost of transport reflects a number of factors, including cost, availability and impact. Just to inform this I did some research after this was first posted and forgot to forward it: For every Jones Style Large Commercial vehicle in 1930s Britain there were: c. 3 Motorcycles c. 6.5 Private Cars...

Only just joined so catching up!
If you want to play something that looks like a battle, and don't have a village hall at your disposal, them 6mm is perfect (although 10mm comes close).

Rackham Miniatures were brilliant until they killed themselves by going to prepainted plastics! Although the metals, which are often superb works of art are still available from the Ukraine. Studio Miniatures have some very nice early colonial ranges, with more figures on the way and they deserve cr...

54mm Vietnam and Hex Terrain
I have several boxes of 54mm Masterbox figures of Americans in Vietnam. I was going to use them to build an Imagi-African force for the 1970's. However as I have figures for this in 20mm and 28mm I need to free some storage up! let me know if interested. I also have a ludicrous amount of the old TSS...

Let's settle for "sturdy pram". It may be that there is some significance in the fact that I can't find any record of the Germans using any that the BEF left behind. They converted 34 to SPGs and Ammo carriers and used 'em on the Eastern Front :) http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-oCA3OywU3ig/UEIA...
