Thankfully safe. No more kickstarters for me.

I just bought in:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ho ... miniatures

Could have been a clearer offer, took me two goes. But the Angevin War is looking like an interruption to my painting schedule.

Me too, I am going for metal rather than resin.
I was stunned to see that both the £450 top pledges went in the first two minutes!

I hope this doesn't get out of hand, small KS projects that get too many backers can be a problem.

Yes, a little worrying. In theory as the masters are made and he's Mr Footsore it should reduce the risk.

Edit: just found some old Slingshot articles on the Angevin War, essentially a PhD thesis by Andrew Fisher which amounts to a lot of detailed information, plus a ‘solo’ campaign and some specialised DBM lists. This needs celebrating :moredrink:

If I could have justified the expense I was tempted by the "Have Paul Hicks sculpt you as a character" pledge level. But I've realised that I might just be able to scan my own head and print it out...if i'm that desperate to get my ugly mug on a figure :D

I've got a couple of books that cover the war. I've also got a lot more figures that are suitable hidden in the garage. So as basement Mark has a few days off at the end of the month I might put him to work getting all the boxes out :)

I’ve decided it’s a firm no for me. The figures are gorgeous, but I really can’t do with another Dark Age army. I have 5 or 6 already.
