...as far as I know we're using 42mm Figures (foot to eye) which equate to the smaller sized Britains which were 43mm (then later 45mm) total height to fit with 'O' gauge.
Spencer Smith sells the STS and Little Britains Ranges in this size and Irregular produce a huge range in Toy soldier style too.

Any further ideas on dates? Did someone mention a Shinny Ayton 2020?

I'm probably not going to have time and cash for painting many more Shinys this year but planning ahead and all that..

I'll be painting up all the 'shinies' I have but won't buy any more. That gives me a finite end game and will avoid me getting into an arms race for Ayton 2020. Mind you I already have about three times as much as i'll have painted for Fram. :)

I think I’ve asked this before but have forgotten the given information.
These STS have separate heads and arms and prongs which is a frightful bore.
What’s the eBay way of attaching these? Some sort of soldering?

Some people pin them. I just clean for a good fit and super glue. They'll probably drop off first time I drop any...
