Everybody else’s troops look like they know what they’re doing and didn’t get all their stuff in a charity shop.

I’ve ordered figures to convert Combat Detatchment ‘Panga’ into regulars, but they’re, y’know... scruffy regulars.
Bishop N'Dunas troops will be formed of Eurekas Somalians....so don't look particularly professional.....of course they have god on their side instead.

I’m getting Kumbayan flashbacks.

There was a headline in the evening news about Durham County Council trying to “take control of Tees Valley Airport”.
The phrasing made me want to get the Hat out.

There's a "Flying Boxcar" type in the 'Planes' movie tie-in toy range that's perfect for 28mm with a repaint. Will put up a photo when I'm on something other than a phone.

It would work well for the Dununda African Contingent (DUNZACs) if I ever get to Ayton. :)

My not-Israelis could do an Entebbe!

Other than some native types I might add in a unit of French paratroopers from the Empress FNG range.

Entebbe, or not Entebbe - that is the question.

Well, you'll be pleased to know that I did actually build an airport terminal and some stores shacks, even did a tarmac, so a plane or two would be nice. That Disney thing does look usable.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.

There are some ww2 types, later used as passenger planes available in 1/48 for a reasonable price. But DC3s (The obvious choice) are a bit expensive at that scale :(
I'll keep a look out for the 'Planes' one at the local pound shop :)
