Calling the Alien from Adelaide

Post by grizzlymc »

ET

I am contemplating doing a spot of Bunning this week. I recollect you advising me on a brand of spray primer for my Shapeways 1/200 scale airyplanes. What was it please?

That would be me. This is what I use. Make sure you shake well, spray from 12-18 inches away, with rapid, light passes, 'drifting' it on. Best to do 2 or 3 quick passes as otherwise it tends to pool & can run then. It's an acrylic so non-toxic (kind of  ). Sydeney temperatures should be ok for spraying even in winter. 10C is around the lower limit.

It's a mid gray colour, although apparently there is a black one too, but I haven't seen that locally.

Exellent! Thankyou. Now, if none of my clients want a meeting or a report, I can get the hairy plains underway.

OK, you need to warn us when you are going to post stuff like this, so we know to put our reading glasses on and peruse very carefully.

He's from Sydeney. Bunning at the weekend is compulsory there.

I prefer to do my Bunning in the week when there is less competition.

Tuesday evenings at Neutral Bay Woolworths was apparently quite the place to be, bananas up or down? http://www.essentialbaby.com.au/forums/ ... available/

What have I been missing out on. It would take a full forward pack and a 20kg sack of valium to get me into a supermarket - thas what the interwebz are for, and picking up Australian women? Heaven forbid, I live at Wentworth point to avoid them.

Woman in check-out queue: "You're single and live alone, don''t you?"
Main in front of her: "Wow! You can tell that just from looking at my shopping?"
Woman: "No, it's because you're ugly, badly dressed and smell."

(I think mine must have all been stored in the freezer section.....)
