I might see about popping along, depending on how the busses are running.

Be good to see you Richie.
I'm getting excited. I've a growing leaning towards 10mm at the minute after watching some good Little Wars TV episodes of their visit to the UK. There's some books I hope Dave Lanchester might have too. Also tempted by Museum Miniatures Z range Normans though they wernt there last year.

You have just missed out on the MM sale, they had 25% off!

Bugger yeah, saw that too. Oh well. Tbh I'm more inclined to 10mm anyway and was only attracted by the shinyness. Dont really need another Norman project.

Good day had. Good to see everyone! The organisers are claiming the most busy show on record at just under 2,000. Not sure thats a good thing it was a bit intense at times. Didn't take many pics. Games seemed a bit thin on the ground this year? Though I enjoyed seeing Stephen and Bob's Lion Rampant game with the scratch built sleds.
Didn't have spare cash to splash this year. No bad thing either as no silly random new projects were started. Bought a 105mm Gerry field gun from Mr Grubby ready painted, which then needed a crew from EWM. Two PIAT crews on the bring and buy. Some spears/pikes from Pendraken with tounge depressers and a pack of bases. Then a couple of book bargains and I was about ready to go when I remembered Caliver would have the Wargames Annual 2023 containing Hotel's article, which I hadn't seen. Had to buy it for posterity but sad to see my physical decline over the years.

It did seem busy but I felt the show was a bit meh. A few traders missing, fewer big demo games, bring and buy was a bit shit.
I enjoyed the day but mainly from a social viewpoint.
