My two umpires have been in touch with me and the excitement is building. I've gone for a French/Prussian 1813 SP game (setting aside the fear that it will re-launch my long abandoned French/Prussian 1814 game) and a 1940 Dutch/German CoC game ('cos it's 1940 and I always wanted to do a Dutch force). Whoo! and indeed Hoo!
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

Two cracking games there. Karl’s WW2 game is going to be ace. He’s painted both armies and built the dyke and bridge system in the last 5 weeks. And they look superb

Yes, he sent me the photos through :D . And Karl (and his son Luke) run a damn good game, thoroughly enjoyed the previous one I played with them.

Half way through, does he stop and say, "Luke - I AM your father!"?

Ended up with two SP2 games - AWI in the morning rescuing a magistrate's daughter, and French Revolutionary War in the afternoon rescuing some posh pornography (same as Grizz but different sitting). I had wanted to get into one of the 1940 CoC games in the afternoon but totally bollixed up the ordering process and listed my preferences in time order (ie 1-3 morning, 4-6 afternoon), rather than game order (ie 1 SP2, 2 1940 CoC, etc). Still, as compensation I subsequently got in on the evening session of Coastal Patrol game, in which I am a vile Nazi (is there any other sort?) trying to disrupt the D-Day landings in my "new improved with radar" S-Boat. Here's to the Bavarian Navy.....
