Worked on these over the last year Warrior and Crann Tara Miniatures.

I staged this display last month, the 8th foot, with a independent highland company advance from Campbelltown in search of irate locals.

Excellent looking forces. Those Scottish artillery crew look like they should be in a 1970s Brut advert.

Very nice, Wilz.

Where are you getting the muskets from for the Warrior figures? I bought a load of Redoubt muskets for mine, but they have no bayonet.

Good work - they seem to have found them!

Iain I also bought Redoubt muskets but the ones with bayonets are from Irregular Miniatures, pan down the bottom of the page. Scenic and accessories section, SW4 12 Muskets with bayonet attached (suitable for 1700 to 1850)

Blimey! But they look like muskets with bayonets!

I didn't bother looking at Irregular because the muskets are usually so bad.

Many thanks.

Iain

They do look rather good. I must get on with painting my Flags of War Jacobites. My intention was to do the Jacobites for a Deep Fried Lard 2021 game, with Stiu in Aberdeen doing the British Government forces, but who knows whether that will go ahead. Is that you Wilz?

Doug do you mean, Willz international man of mystery, male model, ex forces pin up, oceanographer, CBRN expert or Willz the sad guy who shoves toy soldiers across the table, in the misguided hope that he might have an ounce of tactical military understanding and some luck with the dice :D .
