For a specific definition where cool = 'utterly freezing'...

I have a small number of Ecossais to paint for my Jacobite forces for the '45, and these are certainly encouraging me to get on with it*. Very nice indeed.

*I should finish the WW2 Winter Germans first - but...

Bonnets were worn from 1745 to at least 1747, but the Tricornes had returned by 1752. Some sources also record that a short paid was worn rather than the breeches during the '45.
I think I recall seeing a Grenadier Mitre cap from the RE as well but that might be from the later, post 1752, revisions.

They are beautiful are they Flags of War figures, OOOOOOOOOOOHHH drolly nice.
Can you do a size comparison with Crann Tara figures or any other figures.
