We've rehomed a number of dogs over the years, a Collie who was shut in alone 20 hours a day, two lurcher puppies that the vet had been asked to put down by the owner and a Westie cross who was being used in a scam where she'd get sold then the sellers would ask for her back as their daughter/son/mother was distraught, they'd refund people with a bouncy cheque. God knows how many times she was farmed out like that? :(
The spaniel we brought from SA was saved on the way to my youngest’s birthday party. She was running between the double chainlink fences at the lion reserve

Met a lovely ex Battersea rescue dog the other day. He was happy to sit by anyone who would give him a tickle. He was found tied to a tree. I was telling my son about him and mentioned that people who do that should be given to Norm for experimentation but he gave me pause for thought. I high number of homeless people leave the dog somewhere obvious just before they wander into a wood with a rope.

Animal abusers and puppy farmers though, Norm should be given them.

Is there a LAW meet up organised or is it a case of finding/avoiding each other as necessary?
