Why Am I behind on everything?

Every time I want to do something you lot have moved on to something else.
Or I’ll give a suggestion and you’ll all poo it then start doing it 5 years later.
Am I the Loose hipster?
I'm not sure I know the full details but my best guess is this.......

The Tims, or one Tim or the other, do 54mm shiny in modern, colonial, ACW and FIW.
Simon, the Tims, Andy and me do late 19thC/early20thC shiny 42mm.
Simon and Andy have various 28/30mm shiny stuff, but I'm not sure how far that has gone.

I believe the next definite shiny game is Framlingham in October.

Can someone please correct me on who's doing what and when?

Late C19th Shinies for me too but I can't get to Fram this year and it's difficult for me to travel further afield than Ayton now. I did want to get a northern game going but the calenders too blocked out :(

I wondered about shinies for the Ayton anniversary game next year as they are really in the spirit of the first Ayton, but I suspect C18th is more appropriate given that's what most people have.

That's a pity, but I'm buggered for time this year anyway so I don't care. But we could compare 2020 diaries at Ayton?

Next Shiny game is Driffield June 23/24

A huge clash of arms in 1/32 scale from the collections of us Tim's.

All wilcommen in the Grande Armie of Europa! We have vast swathes of cavalry to spare if anyone wants to join.

Swathes! That's perfect, it's exactly the amount that EB loses in a single turn.
I know when to go out
I know when to stay in
Get things done

The EU swathe is, in fact the number of cavalry EB loses in a single turn. The imperial swathe of Albion is quite a bit larger so as to give EB a command for two turns, not one.

I fear that Imperial swathes is closer to the truth.
