I was thinking just that last night.

I also have shiny Prince August 40mm tricorne types and I was thinking that a game on the lawn in the back garden in the summer with Gin and Tonics sounds rather fun.

Boaters, blazers and bow ties? Sounds like an old front cover of "Military Modelling" from the 1980s.

I think General Shiny-News would be a great character for the Ayton VBCW game.

I feel more temptation coming on.

E
Mark also collects Hinton Hunt Napoleonics. He lives rather near Ayton I believe.
Yes, he mentioned the HHs. He lives near York I believe.

I'm not sure about the garden game........I've tried that and found significant down sides. An alfresco game on a table tennis table however...................

Back in the 1970s our very own Mick (Subedai) and his special friends had a very large collection of these fellows. They didn't let little tykes like me play with them.

My latest shiny figures finished today.

Both of these are original Hinton Hunt figures. Picton has been painted with scarlet coat, rather than black, based on HH original painting instructions which can be found on Clives Hinton Hunter blog.
