Not coins, 16mm washers so I could get them nice and tight. The base is the size of a business card.

Oh yes. That's a bit worrying, I'd had a close look and concluded they were on a single base. A testament to the quality of the basing, rather than my rubbish eyesight........I hope.

It's been a long time since I painted completed units, but from what I recall, it's always the last knockings that are the hardest to finish - good job though. Two questions - (1) is the "uniform" hat historically accurate, or just something you've don to pick them out; and (2) is it not going to be a bit fiddly getting shield transfers onto guys this closely packed?
