Another vote for PC from me
VB: all 1/72 & 20mm figures. It's all I do.
You might notice a thin smattering of the old Airfix figures in the ranks.

Lovely stuff but surely if you have Airfix in the ranks you need to use Terry Wise's rules?

With the ACW, I just do as I'm told.

I was rather shocked to hear about all the weird fencing you need & just how much is required for a 6mx2m layout.

The battle is evidently going to be Chancellorsville BTW.

So was I - I built loads from scratch and still think its not enough. Do any MDF companies produce anything useful?

And of course, it will need to be the correct type of fencing, not just for Virginia, but for Spotsylvania County, which will almost certainly be unique to that particular place.

The ACW set up looks as good as your ECW one (which is superb).

I believe Andy bought some mdf snake (?) fencing.

There’s Blotz:
Says it’s 10mm ‘scale’ but look at the figure comparison, it seems too big for 10mm

Or Hoka Hey’s 15mm ‘scale’:

Thank you. I'll pass it on to the OM who has taken full responsibility of the terrain: I believe the knots in the wood the fences are made of must be authentic to the locale. He's fairly painstaking at the best of times & the ACW is his baby.

Unlike most Show games, where I supply 50% and more of the figures, I have only a few hundred painted & will only be adding a handful to bring them up to strength. This does give me time to pursue my Nap. Waterloo Campaign project.
