Re: Wanted: WW2 German le FH 18 Howitzer and Crew+ gun tractor
You can, of course, get all 3 components from 3 different sources online but that means 3 lots of P&P for 3 small sales. It also means 3 different interpretations of 20mm/1:72, which can sneak into the realms of "awkward". A propos the horse-drawn option, am I right in thinking that B...

A quick look through pictures suggests that they were rare but not unknown. Outside of parades, there don't seem to be pictures of units consistently using them. I suspect that the Russians rapidly accepted the Barons/Germans point of view and painted them out. https://stalingradfront.com/articles/a...

Re: Question about BofB German aircraft.....
The 'yellow nosed bastards'? It started off as an aerial recognition marking. My reference books are stuck in storage... This https://www.ipmsstockholm.se/home/camouflage-and-markings-of-messerschmitt-me-109/ gives an overview. As always with markings there are exceptions and inconsistencies. A bit ...

Rapid Fire. 3 Shermans are a company. Is there a website/book that explains WW2 markings? Preferably in 1 syllale words + pictures? donald Many, often complex and contradictory.... The Flames of War website generally has decent primers for each nation/period. It's probably the easiest starting poin...

Most towns have a history museum or collection of some sort, as do some of the RSL's. In Sydney there's the Australian Mari...
