Good Luck to you all going. I hope you have a brilliant weekend. I am gutted not to be there, but I shall raise a glass to you all over the weekend.

Re: Surviving the Fram flood.

Just seen this Tim, that's really awful and I'm very sorry you've been affected like this. I hope the clean up and recovery goes smoothly and quickly, and that you can still make planned get-togethers. All the best. Cheers dude. November is out of the window, but I am hoping very much to attend in ...

Re: Surviving the Fram flood.

A quick update. The ground floor is now being cleared out completely, the floorboards upstairs are groaning under the weight of all the crap shifted there. But we are fine. Enjoyed a helping visit from EB over the weekend. He was a real trooper and a great help shifting all the stuff. See you all so...

Re: Oldest wargame figures still in your possession

Re: Surviving the Fram flood.

Just a quickie whilst I still can. Firstly thanks to all for offers of help, it is so much appreciated. The insurance process has now kicked in and I found it very satisfying to remove all the sodden carpets this morning. We are slowly rescuing stuff that we can, but the insurance cover is going to ...

Surviving the Fram flood.

Hello all, the title is a bit of a misnomer because our little house did not survive the flood. The entire ground floor was under six inches of water, and despite what Gaynor might say, six inches was more than enough. We are going to be evacuating the house tonight, and it is likely to be six month...

I've just an appointment through for a scan on my (hopefully still) benign brain tumour...luckily it's for the monday after Ayton....if it had been the friday it would have made things difficult.
That's something else to keep my fingers crossed for then.
