I preferred the old TSS Hex tiles. Smaller and light and much easier to store than the big brethren.

I have shed loads of these that I have been trying to sell on since my storage capacity vastly shrank

But then, my workbench now has 7 Barons War knights dug out of the 3rd lead pile on the left sitting on it and getting painted in a similar style. I may turn to crossbowmen today, inspired by the tale of Peter the Saracen (if you’ve got that far in the SoA article?).

Yup I've looked out 4 boxes of suitable Fireforge plastics, giving me nearly 50 knights and mounted Sergeants before I even take delivery of the KS stuff. I'll try and find all the black tree feudal figures I have stashed too

Now trying to get my SAGA Saxons finished as there's a guy down the club with a Norman 6 point army spoiling for a fight.

Workbench creaking at the minute with those, ECW 15mm, French 28mm WWII and a unit of marines for Ayton 2020.
