Also, I need to convert one of my figures to a sniper.
I usually just use a generic rifleman but I’m feeling the need for some specialness.

Same. You can get resin or kit versions from Warlord. You've put me off the 105mm gun.
Isn't the Warlord one the Char B1 Bis? The Char 2c was a monster...

You can get either (or both) from Warlord:

The WLG starter army I bought off of the eBay already contains the light mortar & the ATR - and I have half-a-dozen generic crewmen with binox who could be the spotter - so this pack is largely redundant.

Just need to drape a camo net over a rifleman and put him on a base with some heavy cover.

Re. the 105mm gun, though... in hindsight, Irregular’s ‘really useful gun’ range includes French issue WWI Schneiders, and both Dutch and Belgian WWII howitzers - very straightforward kits by the look of it, and all of six quid. Doing it again, I’d consider one of those as a proxy.

A points-free medium howitzer is too good to pass up entirely.

A tank for which you can legitimately field the entire production run...

Norman - Really Useful Guns are designed to work for both 15mm and 20mm so might be a bit small for you.

Mais non, mon ami - they also do the same RUG range for 28’s. (25 to be exact).
Top of their 28mm listings, third entry down.
Just bought a Schneider.

Never knew that, but then I only ever buy them for 20mm
