Shieldwall Markers Experiment!

Post by Atheling_2006 »

I've been messing around trying to create convincing markers for my Anglo Danes for when they go into Shieldwall........

I think I've finally nailed the correct size for the bases to number of mini's(?). I didn't want the markers to overwhelm the units. I hope I've hit the right spot?

Many more pics and high brow reasoning on my blog:

Yay! To the new markers. And the old ones might make disorder/shock markers?

Ditto - "Yay!" to the new, "Boo/Hiss!" to the old which sort of look like either the director said "OK, cut - let's give it 15 and the catering cart is over there....." or teacher said: "OK, let's thank those nice re-enactors for letting us play with them, but stack those shields neatly before we go, shall we?".

Nah, I'll just paint up something else for those. I'm not a fan of the old ones.
