On our trips around Oz we encountered neither snakes nor unpleasantly huge spiders, for which I gave thanks daily! Here in GHQ we hosted a decent sized female house spider, very sedentary she was though thankfully.

Absolute monsters according to the Baroness; but no, not really. And usually only found in bathtubs.

Back on topic, bought a batch of Murawski Miniatures Poles from Emperor Toad. Nice figures, look like Paul Hicks' sculpts? Took ages to arrive though. I think I want a second batch, but the lead time is putting me off.

Crusader miniatures have their Carthaginians on sale at the minute so just bought an army with the cash I've made selling on unwanted 28mm WWII odds and ends. I've had Romans and Numidians kicking about for years and they are now getting done so its time to rise the lead pile.

At Claymore today more 3mm MDF bases from Warbases, together with some Eastern European buildings to make a farm for Crimean games. Some brushes from ABC Brushes. The Thin Red Line from the Flea Market for £10.

I got a delivery from Rosemary and co this week, they were lightening quick in their arrival - I 'm currently waiting for a few Footsore Welsh but I think I'm going to have to buy some Antediluvian Scots though

Vaguely hobby related, I've just bought tickets up to Cairns to spend a few days at the Armour and Artillery Museum there (https://www.ausarmour.com/). Mike Broadbent will be going with me, but Herself is not interested, for some strange reason.
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?
