I don't think so, mate, though if there's ruins there he and his missus will explore them. Bill would be more interested in any WWII activity, which, from memory, was just Axis submarines and the RN ships hunting them.

My mate got back from his Indian Ocean frolics last week, and last Friday and last Tuesday we managed to get a few turns done. Things are not looking good for the Rebs and, with four turns left to go, I may not even manage a draw. This scenario was based on one from Charge, from memory, but in shortening the 24 turns to 14, I think I've unbalanced it. Or just fooked things up.

As an extra disappointment we lost a whole lot of photos when my camera SD card died before they were downloaded. Bill was able to recreate Early's Charge of the Too-Light Brigade and get photos of that, plus the situation when we adjourned. You can see the photos here: https://dalg.id.au/ACW/bloodyriver.htm, on page 2.

Some nice pics in that report.

I lost a load of Ayton pics one year. Phone did something weird. Really annoying.

That's a splendid looking game, Spanner.

Thanks, gents. Those figures have been in a box for about 20 years and I am chuffed to have them on a table again.

"really" wasn't the adjective I used, Andy. It looks like the laptop was the culprit, not the SD card. The SD slot in the laptop failed completely last night, so probably shorted the card directory when I tried to download the photos.

They're original Battle Honours 15mm, Iain, with Old Glory casualty figures as markers. The range has been expanded by AB since I bought those figures in the early 90's. Very nice, good animation and detail- as typical for Tony Barton's work.

Was it when someone actually rang you? People do that to me sometimes, and it really fucks up my equilibrium.

Thanks, mate. Good figures, like AB, and reasonable terrain always dress up a game.

Half your luck, mate. We have an election coming up and between the pollsters, want-to-be trough-snouters, party propagandists and other unwelcome intrusions, I'm almost ready to drop me phone into the dunny.
