The Doge's Palace is a lesson in Shock and Awe for visiting envoys.
"See that tapestry? That's what we did to the Turks."
"That one shows what we did to the Greeks when they upset us."
"Over there? The Turks again."
"Now then, what was it you wanted again?"

Re: LAW in the NE
Did we make any progress with a NE game?
Re: LAW in the NE
I have asked a venue near Berwick for a quote (they have on site accomodation too). I suspect the cost will be prohibitive but I wanted to find out.
Working out a date that fits around the othe games is the tricky bit.

Re: LAW in the NE
I suggest a walk around the walls should be fitted in - there must be a pub crawl that would work.
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

The pub crawl around that walls sounds great, if a little hazardous.
Re: LAW in the NE
I've walked those walls whilst perfectly sober. They were well dangerous. Forts worth a visit too, and it's relatively safe.

Wot? Lots of scrotes knocking about? Didn’t think they’d scare a seasoned copper like you!

Tough lot in Berwick. Still at war with the Russians over the Crimea, you know.
