Dear All...

Well it appears that my previously mentioned 'hopefully not serious' problems with my mother turns out to be Vascular Dementia along with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer.

Obviously this is devastating news which will require me to spend more time in East Anglia but....

...sucking on the bitterest of lemons I am attempting to make lemonade.

I have made contact with a wargames group in the next village along, turned up and slaughtered the bemused locals at Chain of Command.

And discovered a rather excellent wargames shop in Ely. If people are around there, I would urge you to pay them a visit - the Very Nice Man running it put me in touch with the above mentioned group which is going to make this summer a tiny bit more bearable.
