Well, the campaign is called the Two Headed Serpent!

It’s the 1930s. Snakes happen.

Probably just a coincidence that we're working for an organization named after the symbol of two serpents coiled round a staff. I'm sure there's nothing untoward going on there.

You aren’t roleplaying your character. You’re not supposed to have insights like that Norm! You’re supposed to grunt heavily and shoot everything in sight! Minus 20 luck points for poor role playing.

Staff of Hermes, symbol of US Army medical corps, US Public Health Service, Marines Corps hospitals, two snakes

Rod of Aceplius, symbol of a wide number of medical organisations esp. in the US and India. One snake.

Whitesnake- piss poor Teesside rock band that will emerge in about 35 years time

Jesus the slithery feckers are everywhere.

Balderdash.
First: Hunter.
Natural history is my bitch.
It was me told Percy Fawcett about the 60-foot anaconda back in ‘25. (Probably why a 100-footer didn’t ruffle me unduly).

Second: Public school boy.
Think about it: Caduceus. The staff of Mercury. A Greek (and Roman) God.
Who studied Greek (& Roman) classics in the 1930’s?
English public schoolboys. It’s kind of obvious.

Nil desperandum, what? You’ll have plenty of time to consider a retort while your skin grows back.

I have just pioneered exfoliation in the beauty industry. I’ll be a millionaire in 6 months.

Public school boy undoubtably. Doesn’t mean you learnt anything! Except how to sneak a smoke behind the armoury and how to shag Fortesque’s older sister (the desperate one with the warts and buck teeth)

I understand you also acquire the requisite skills to toast a crumpet between the pinkening cheeks of your fag, if you ever get to upper school.
